This is a formation close to where I live here in Lofoten, called Djevelporten, (The Devils Gate) and I will hopefully use this rocky bridge in a photography later on this winter. More re-makes of old pictures at tommyhovik.com

Joachim tipped me about the Interview Project (IP) the other day, and since I`m a sucker for most of David Lynch`s work, I just had to post it. Good stories, have a look.

Finally some evidence that I get something done up here in Lofoten. This is a picture I took at Unstad in late september `09, used in this winter`s Norrøna retailers-guide. The designers made the picture a bit brighter then I had hoped for, but it still makes sense. As you can see, we had all types of weather that day. The picture is taken with my Hasselblad Super Wide C from 1966. Photo: LK

I was reading Lofotposten today, and all of a sudden a case about this picture by Robert Capa (Magnum) showed up! The picture was probably taken in 1956. More old pics.

I just discovered a pretty good stencil-art documentation from the different projects by Dolk and Pøbel (and others?) around here in Lofoten. Check it.

Is this the coolest café, or what? From Jimmy Kets` Volkscafes in Belgium.

Congratulations to my buddies Espen Nersveen and Jo Straube on their photo-awards lately, well done! Also awarded, Øyvind Hjelmen, a long time favourite of mine.
